Expansion Slots

* The PCIEX8 slot shares bandwidth with the PCIEX16 slot. When the PCIEX8 slot is populated, the PCIEX16 slot operates at up to x8 mode.
* The PCIEX16 and PCIEX8 slots can only support a graphics card or an NVMe SSD. If only one graphics card is to be installed, be sure to install it in the PCIEX16 slot.

* The PCIEX8 slot becomes unavailable when anAMD Ryzen™ 8000 Series-Phoenix 1/ Phoenix 2 processor is used.

* The PCIEX4 slot shares bandwidth with the M2D_SB connector. The PCIEX4 slot becomes unavailable when a device is installed in the M2D_SB connector.

Storage Interface

* The M2B_CPU connector shares bandwidth with the ASMedia USB4® controller.When a device is installed in theM2B_CPU connector, both theM2B_CPU connector and the USB4 ports supported by the ASMedia USB4® controller operate at up to x2 bandwidth. When using an AMD Ryzen™ 8000 Series-Phoenix 1 or Phoenix 2 processor, the USB4 ports supported by the ASMedia USB4® controller operate at up to x2 bandwidth, and the M2B_CPU connector becomes unavailable.

* RAID 5 is only available on AMD Ryzen™ 9000 Series Processors.
